Chew more, slow down



The way you chew can significantly impact your health. Here's why:

1. You'll enjoy your meals  more: Try to slow down with no time limits. Take time to savor each food. Is it juicy or crunchy? Bitter or sweet? Eating should be a pleasant moment.

2. Better digestion: At your next meal try to see for how long you chew your food. You'll be surprise to see how quickly you swallow it. But smaller pieces are easier for our bodies to digest, which also facilitates the absorption of nutrients.

3. Weight loss: When we eat slowly, our bodies have the proper amount of time to realize how full it is, so you'll be able to have less calories intake.

  1. I wish I had read this while I was struggling to lose weight with running. I was doing my best to eat right and run every day to lose weight, but I just wasn't seeing it. Thankfully after a few years I was able to find a good diet and I started a really good workout program that has helped me lose 40 pounds!
