Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States (1 in every 4 deaths), being coronary heart disease the most common type. Smokers, and individuals with high blood pressure, or high LDL cholesterol are at greater risk.
Show your commitment for ending heart disease by wearing red today. Remember to eat a healthy diet, low in salt, total fat, saturated fat, and cholesterol. Exercise and eat lots of vegetables and fruits.
